Fisher & Paykel OB60SMPTNB1 is a spacious 60cm handleless built-in oven with 16 cooking functions, guided touchscreen control and pyrolytic self-cleaning. With 72L of usable capacity, six shelf positions and a temperature range of up to 280°C, the oven offers excellent flexibility for everything from everyday cooking to baking, roasting and multi-level cooking.

The handleless design distinguishes this model from other ovens in the Minimal series. The oven door opens electronically at the touch of a button, allowing the Black Glass front to remain clean and uninterrupted. This makes the OB60SMPTNB1 particularly well suited to contemporary kitchens where handleless cabinetry and continuous lines form part of the architectural expression.

Handleless design with electronic door opening

The OB60SMPTNB1 is designed without a conventional oven handle. Instead, the oven door opens and closes electronically at the touch of a button, providing intuitive operation while preserving the oven's minimalist appearance.

The handleless front creates a calm transition between the oven and surrounding cabinetry, allowing continuous lines to be maintained across the kitchen. The oven can be combined with other appliances from Fisher & Paykel's Minimal series to create a cohesive and integrated appliance suite.

Guided cooking with touchscreen control

The large 5-inch touchscreen allows you to select cooking by function, food type or recipe. The oven recommends the appropriate cooking mode and temperature, making its extensive range of cooking possibilities simple to use.

Frequently used functions are easily accessible, while automatic preset temperatures, rapid preheating, timers and delayed start provide additional control for everyday cooking.

16 functions for versatile cooking

The 16 cooking functions include conventional cooking, convection, roasting, grilling, pizza, pastry, slow cooking, Air Fry, dehydrating and rapid proofing. Each function adjusts heat distribution to suit the chosen cooking method.

Air Fry uses circulating hot air to create a crisp finish, while Dehydrate enables slow drying of ingredients. Rapid Proof provides a controlled environment for proving dough.

Even heat throughout the oven

AeroTech™ technology circulates heat throughout the oven cavity, helping to maintain an even temperature across the different shelf positions. ActiveVent™ manages moisture levels according to the selected cooking function.

The oven offers six shelf positions and a total capacity of 85L, of which 72L is usable capacity. This provides ample space for larger dishes or cooking across multiple shelves at the same time.

Precise control of core temperature

A wired food probe is included to monitor the core temperature of food during cooking. The oven is also compatible with Fisher & Paykel's wireless temperature sensor, available separately.

Using a temperature probe makes it easier to monitor dishes such as meat and other foods where reaching a precise internal temperature is important to the final result.

Pyrolytic self-cleaning

The pyrolytic cleaning programme heats the oven to a very high temperature, breaking down food residue and grease into a light ash. Once the oven has cooled, the remaining ash can simply be wiped away with a damp cloth.

The enamelled side racks are designed to remain inside the oven during the pyrolytic cleaning cycle, reducing the preparation required before starting the programme. The oven door and inner glass can also be removed for more thorough manual cleaning.

Stable and convenient access to the oven

The included full-extension telescopic shelf makes it easier to access hot dishes and roasting trays. Non-tip shelf runners provide additional stability when placing food into or removing it from the oven.

The soft-close mechanism ensures that the handleless oven door closes smoothly and quietly.

Smart and hands-free operation

The OB60SMPTNB1 is a connected appliance and can be used with Fisher & Paykel's SmartHQ™ platform. The electronic door mechanism also enables voice-controlled opening of the oven door using a compatible device and Google voice assistant.

This provides the option of hands-free operation, which can be particularly useful when your hands are occupied during cooking.
